Didxazapp: An Experimental Spanish-Zapotec Translator
Didxazapp is a personal, non-profit project developed by SimplesoftMX that aims to provide an experimental Spanish-Zapotec translator. The system works exclusively with the Zapotec variant from the Istmo region, and it currently contains around 4,500 tuples obtained from books written by Zapotec writers and poets who carefully preserve the language.
This automatic translator is a mathematical approximation of the grammatical analysis of Zapotec rules from the Juchitán and surrounding areas. However, as Zapotec is a language rich in grammar, some rules are difficult to interpret and generate mathematically, resulting in occasional translation errors. The developer asks for support in understanding this situation and improving the translations day by day by using the fastest automatic translation techniques, adapting them to Zapotec, and maintaining the language's autonomy through the extraction and updating of grammatical rules and continuous learning.
